Job Duties   The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for coordinating efforts to verify that all production control strategies are implemented correctly. He/she will be in charge of ensuring that production follows specific parameters to prevent late orders (SLA’s) and to ensure the control and accuracy of all vendor assets to be processed. The supervisor will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to communicate with production personnel, as well as vendors and customers, and other company personnel. One of their main duties is providing leadership to keep production processes and controls working correctly. In addition, He/she strive to implement and verify that strategies are effective and use as few company resources as possible. He/she take an active part in training activities and coaching efforts to educate new staff on manufacturing processes. The Production control supervisor will verify quality and productivity standards are met using established metrics. These professionals write detailed reports based on their observations, and He/she present these documents during technical and manufacturing meetings. He/she suggest changes to the production control parameters to make everything more efficient. These supervisor will follow strict safety procedures to prevent accidents during production hours. The production control supervisor will monitor accuracy and reliability, using computer software tools to measure performance. He/she work well in a team environment with other supervisors and production staff to reach all manufacturing objectives within a specific timeframe. He/she will possess strong independent skills to work on their own with minimal supervision. The supervisor will oversee sanitary conditions and correct any deficiencies as soon as He/she can. The supervisor will develop and implement effective control processes to facilitate productivity and quality targets. Production Control Supervisor Tasks • Assist ERP training of staff. • Ensure products and services are in compliance with customer standards and ensure SLA and quality goals are met or exceeded. • Maintain departmental day-to-day production activities, monitor and prioritize workflow and schedules. • Assist Operations Director and Production Managers with supervision of staff and give direction regarding the manufacturing/operational processes. • Manage daily, weekly and monthly operations reporting. • Expedite production lots as needed. • Maintain accuracy and integrity of ERP system data including inventory and transactional accuracy. • Manage ERP upgrade (planned for 2018)
Skills/Knowledge   A bachelor's degree in production control, manufacturing, or a related field is necessary for this job and/or 5+ years of experience in production control. APICS certification is a plus. ERP experience mandatory (Navision experience a plus). Experience with Jet or Crystal report Writer a plus. 100% Customer focused!
