Blockchain in the Supply Chain Webinar

Why is it important to you and your organization to be familiar with Blockchain? Like the internet and cell phone technology, Blockchain is an extensible platform. Were you and your company early adopters of other major technology advances - or did you have to play catch-up? Would your company benefit from the ability to have a stable, secure, streamlined, and relatively inexpensive means to provide multiple parties the ability to view shared-in-common transfers, transactions, and (complex) processes?

Through Hyperledger, Blockchain offers an elegant, streamlined solution: a single transaction flow, with different players (e.g., suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, retailers, and even, where desirable, consumers) given permission to view different aspects of the transaction, through a shared ledger. Recognized Supply Chain/Blockchain expert, Quentin Samelson, will recap his May 17th Professional Development Meeting presentation, and will provide additional information and examples - If you have an interest in Blockchain, be certain to Have Lunch with APICS-Chicago Register Now - This Webinar is held at No Charge, however, you MUST register to receive the log-in information.
