-- Where are We Going? What's Next for the Supply Chain --
In the 25 years, since the concept of
Supply Chain first became popular in the mid 1980's, we have seen many changes
as the Supply Chain became truly Global and encompassed all of the traditional
operations, distribution, and logistics functions. Furthermore, as with so many other things, change in the Supply Chain world
is taking place at an ever increasing rate.
Given the many changes, and the rapid pace of change, now is a good time to take stock of where the Supply Chain is and where it is going. Our presenter, Scott Saunders, Senior Vice President Supply Chain Integration Services at Supply Chain Solutions Provider, Havi Global Solutions, will discuss his take on the Supply Chain: Where it is now; Where it will be 18 months from now; and What we are likely to experience over the next three-to-five years.
