October 14, PDM Always Greener - 6th Annual Business Case Competition
Presentations by Participating Local Universities
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MEETING (PDM) - The Sixth Annual Business Case Competition, Always Greener,
is focused on issues that most APICS members, and business in general are confronted by -
Turning facts into actionable information, incorporating new information and using that information to
recast plans in real-time, and importantly not only controlling costs, but going beyond cost control to

Operations; What information is necessary to
support change; When should you preserve what you have, and when should you make large scale changes,
taking on risk to save or advance the business??? This year's case frames these issues in a context that will force
the participants to address these, and the other Operations/Supply Chain challenges the case presents.
This event will be held at APICS HQ.
