Tim is the managing director of WT Russell Ltd. a consulting firm specializing in manufacturing services. He is currently Chapter President and formerly held the positions of VP of Programs and also the Public Education Coordinator for the Chicago Chapter of APICS.  Tim is also a member of the Finance committee for APICS, the association of Operations Management.

Following twenty-five years of experience in the streamlining of manufacturing operations as an employee of both large and small firms, Tim repositioned himself in 1999 as an independent consultant to management providing solutions in business process improvements, strategic initiatives and essential cost management techniques for small to medium sized enterprises. His vast storehouse of knowledge and techniques has yielded real world solutions for improved cash flow.

Tim holds an MBA from DePaul University with a concentration in Finance plus significant course work in Quantitative Methods. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management from Pittsburg State University where his independent studies, focusing on the precursors to today's Business Process Improvement, Activity Based Management and TQM techniques, were directed towards the optimization of workflows and individual work practices. His Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology was granted by Pittsburg State University, with honors.

Tim is a Certified Management Accountant, Certified in Integrated Resource Management, Certified Supply Chain Professional, a Senior Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, and also holds memberships in the Institute of Management Consultants, APICS - The American Production and Inventory Control Society, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Project Management Institute.
