APICS Train the Trainer Workshop

Train the Trainer is a two-day course that prepares professionals to teach adult training and development courses. The lessons cover such topics as communication, effective media use, motivating learners, and meeting room layout.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide you with a successful and workable methodology
that you can apply to any subject in which you may have to train people.

During the workshop you will write instructional objectives, formulate lesson plans, and present both a 5 and a 10 minute training session, which will be video taped. In your presentations you will use the procedures, tools, and skills learned in the workshop. After each presentation, a constructive critique will help you to improve your subsequent training sessions and conduct them in a better, more results-oriented manner. This is a hands-on, do-it-yourself, intense experience. During these training sessions, you will show your learners how to do an activity and then have them do it to affirm the learning.
